After a hard work out at BJJ class, are you famished?  A question you may be thinking is what can i eat that isn’t going to completely ruin the hard work I just did?  According to ISSA (International Sports Science Association), they gave questions that we can ask ourselves that can help keep our eating habits on the right track.

  • When did you last eat?
  • Where is the complete protein?
  • Where are the veggies?
  • Where are the carbs?
  • Where are the fats coming from?

When we think about these questions, we think about different foods we can eat.  With the help of your coaches and professors, we came up with 10 recovery foods for BJJ.

  6. Avocado
  7. Flax Seed
  8. Mixed Nuts
