GB Dana Point Making Sports Jiu-Jitsu Work for Children
Gracie Barra Dana Point Martial Arts is committed providing a strong character development program through the practice of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Over the years our children grow to become highly technical Jiujitsu practitioners by gaining a deeper understanding of the art and embracing a black belt mind set. We encourage discipline, cooperation, respect and focus through positive reinforcement and a goal setting approach.
On this video, one of our advanced students learns how to execute a Spider Guard Sweep. Considered by many “too hard” for kids, the spider guard is actually very intuitive and under proper training most of our advanced students develop the skill to execute it on sports jiujitsu.
One fo the best class for our advanced students to practice is on saturdays 9 to 10.30am. The 30 minutes live training is the perfect opportunity for them to continue improving their BJJ for sports and competition.
